Landscape for Less is seeking two motivated and experienced Hardscape/Landscape Technicians to join our growing team of skilled professionals. This position involves a combination of landscape installation, hardscape construction, seasonal property maintenance, and site preparation for residential and commercial properties throughout Western New York.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in physically demanding outdoor environments and be capable of completing projects independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to installing patios, retaining walls, drainage systems, sod, planting beds, and other landscape features, as well as performing seasonal maintenance, cleanup services, and snow removal operations as needed.

This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, professionalism, and the ability to safely operate landscaping tools and equipment while maintaining high-quality workmanship standards. Candidates must be prepared to work flexible hours based on project demands, weather conditions, and seasonal workloads.

• Independently and collaboratively follow layout plans

• Strong knowledge of landscape installation, hardscape construction, and property maintenance practices
• Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions, including lifting, digging, grading, and prolonged standing or walking
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision as required per job site
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow layout plans, measurements, and job site instructions
• Experience with retaining wall, patio, drainage, sod, and walkway installation preferred
• Knowledge of proper plant care, pruning, trimming, mulching, and seasonal landscape maintenance practices
• Ability to safely operate tools, machinery, and equipment in compliance with company safety standards
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and job site organization
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, crew members, contractors, and clients in a professional manner
• Valid driver’s license required
• Clean driving record with no history of DWI offenses and no at-fault vehicle accidents within the past three years
• Reliable transportation to and from multiple job sites throughout the workday and workweek
• Ability to pass background, driving, or employment verification checks if required by company policy or insurance standards
• Experience with residential and commercial properties preferred 
• Experience with snow and ice removal operations preferred 
• Experience in leadership or crew lead roles preferred
• Experience operating landscaping equipment and machinery preferred, including skid steers, excavators, compactors, trimmers, blowers, and related equipment

• $22 - $30 an hour, based on experience
• Weekly pay cycle
• Production-based bonuses
• Paid training on site

• Full-Time, minimum 40 hours
• Monday – Saturday. Saturdays offered for additional overtime. 
• Early morning and late evenings as required
• Overtime available and expected as workload requires, maximum 20 hours
• Start and end of shift is flexible subject to job site demands, task completion, and supervisor approval within department of labor standards
• Employees are expected to complete all personal preparation for manual labor prior to beginning work on the job site, including appropriate dress, hydration, nutrition, stretching, and other necessary readiness activities. Employees may arrive early to prepare on-site or arrive at the scheduled start time fully prepared to begin work immediately.
